I have a vehicle service contract with a company called warranty solutions. Back in September 2015 the engine blew in my 2010 Cadillac SRX.

The repair shop called the company and they created a service contract which they never paid or authorized the repair company to fix my car. The repair shop is where I had all the service on the vehicle performed. Oil changes, tune ups etc., The repair company showed them the service records and everything. They still wanted to know exactly what made the engine blow.

The mechanic said he had never seen anything like it. In short I paid $3,813 to get my car repaired and warranty solutions did not pay one cent of the repair costs. The company is a total scam and as a Subsidiary of Wells Fargo makes me wonder about Wells Fargo as a bank. I have been trying to get refunded my out of pocket money since September 2015.

The company refuses to honor their contract with me..

Help. My next step is to write a letter to the Florida Attorney General and the US Attorney Generals office for fradulent companies.

Reason of review: Warranty issue.

Monetary Loss: $3813.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Warranty Solutions Cons: Are a total scam fraudulent company.

Location: Live Oak, Florida

I would suggest that you never pay for a repair when you have a warranty that is to cover it.......

I feel that a company that is asking for proof of a failure might mean that they have reports of fraud from the service department you took it to??????

I bet they would have sent someone out to inspect the vehicle failures and got it taken care of.....

I get these warranty "notices" all the time from different warranty companies. They even call.

They get your name, auto model, year, etc. by buying your info from the state you live in. The state makes money selling your info and you get the scam calls-----because that's what these companies really are. Why anyone would buy an auto warranty from some unknown company is a mystery.

It is always best, if you really think you need an extended warranty, to buy one from the auto manufacturer---not someone selling warranties out of who-knows-where. Expensive lesson, but now you know.
