Completely Digusted

I bought a used VW and purchased a WS for it. Not only will they not honor repairs, but if the problem with the car is due to rust or corrosion, they refuse to cover it, which quiet frankly is ***. I looked thoroughly at the brochure i was given and it has a list of everything that is included, and what would not be included. NO WHERE in this brochure does it say that they do not cover any rust or corrosion.

The brochure states: "The 5 STAR VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACT COVERS ALL INSTALLED MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL OPERATING PARTS. Some limitations are listed such as glass, maintenance service, paint, manual clutches etc. NOWHERE is is listed that rust is not covered.

Last time I checked, I was not driving my vehicle in an indoor climate controlled space daily.

They also have ZERO communication with the dealership and have made it basically as time consuming and difficult as possible.

Looks like I will have to take this up matter up with somebody in law as this was mis-advertised and misleading information.

Save your money, time, and energy. DO NOT GIVE THESE CROOKS THE TIME OF DAY

I called to cancel the warrant. I was told that the dealer was supposedbto cancel the policy. Called back two weeks later. The dealer didn't do anything. These people was still collecting money from me on a vehicle i no longer had. I called back today asking where my money was. I was told the dealership was responsible for giving me my refund back. Seems to me them and dealerships *** over to get and keep your money.

DONT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. I wish I would have read the hundreds of negative reviews on this company before I let the dealership talk my son into this warranty.

Read their paperwork carefully to see that they cover very little for the $3000.00 you pay for the policy. They have many legal loop holes so that they dont have to pay. Contacted the BBB about them and there was no assistance there. The 2003 Ford that we purchased had engine problems when purchased that we were unaware of.

7 months after purchase the head gasket was blown and there was *** in the piston. We had regular maintenance done on the vehicle and it showed no evidence of a problem. Warranty Solutions state that we drove the car when it had a problem and thats the reason they can refuse to pay. Over a 6 week period they ask the mechanic where we had the car towed to perform multiple tests and tear down the engine and now we are also stuck with that bill for 1000.00.

They agree that the housing unit was defective and will pay for a new one of those They agree to pay for that couple hundred if we agree to buy a new engine and have it installed. So we are out $11,000.00 and they want us to spend $7500.. more and they will throw in a couple $300.00 to help. I'm ashamed that they would treat my military son with such rudeness and disregard and rob him of his hard earned money.

PLEASE STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY. I would hate for someone else to be treated as badly as we were.

Here is the link to the RIP OFF REPORT for them that has some of the other negative reviews on this BAD BUSINESS.

They dont honor there warranties

Bought a $3000 warranty, found out I a had a cracked cylinder head, WS states they wont honor the warranty as the rims on the car have been modified. I have a s550 MB with the Lexani Kit, and the work was done professionally.. The Dealer was awesome, he got me out of the contract, my car fixed, but I wouldnt buy anything from WS ever again, what do rims & tires have to do with a cracked cylinder head.. There needs to be regulations in place to take these type of *** bags out of business, its a scam and per the fine prints you will never get your warranty honored.. I even had the lifetime, unlimited mileage warranty.. stay away from these folks they are straight burns..

So my BMW needs a new fuel injector. The BMW dealership says all 3 fuel injectors in that bank must be changed together. In addition, BMW no longer makes the index 8 injector in the car, they have an updated part, index 11 and 12. Well you also can't mix index 8 injectors with index 11 or 12. Long story short, Warranty Solutions will only replace 1 injector even though BMW has told them, worst case scenario, engine failure may occur if all 3 injectors aren't replaced at the same time. Now I have to pay $800 out of pocket, while they pay $500.... This is the worst 3rd party warranty I have ever had.

Just thinking out loud, but because BMW changed something that is the warranties fault???

I have this coverage and I was told by a friend to read the negative reviews, I am not the smartest person but I believe the warranty covers failures not covers parts that are converted by BMW......do you think maybe the service department was trying to get extra money???? I had an A/C failure and it covered the bill no problem minus my $100 deductible.

I have a vehicle service contract with a company called warranty solutions. Back in September 2015 the engine blew in my 2010 Cadillac SRX.

The repair shop called the company and they created a service contract which they never paid or authorized the repair company to fix my car. The repair shop is where I had all the service on the vehicle performed. Oil changes, tune ups etc., The repair company showed them the service records and everything. They still wanted to know exactly what made the engine blow.

The mechanic said he had never seen anything like it. In short I paid $3,813 to get my car repaired and warranty solutions did not pay one cent of the repair costs. The company is a total scam and as a Subsidiary of Wells Fargo makes me wonder about Wells Fargo as a bank. I have been trying to get refunded my out of pocket money since September 2015.

The company refuses to honor their contract with me..

Help. My next step is to write a letter to the Florida Attorney General and the US Attorney Generals office for fradulent companies.

Class action, anyone?

I would suggest that you never pay for a repair when you have a warranty that is to cover it.......

I feel that a company that is asking for proof of a failure might mean that they have reports of fraud from the service department you took it to??????

I bet they would have sent someone out to inspect the vehicle failures and got it taken care of.....

Wow I am a Warranty Solutions Agent in TX and this situation of yours seems extremely strange!

Maby I can help you out!

We also have an agent in Fl!

What is your name phone # and contract #

What Dealership did you buy the contract from?

I will try to assist you in getting your reimbursement!

Acey Bjt

I get these warranty "notices" all the time from different warranty companies. They even call.

They get your name, auto model, year, etc. by buying your info from the state you live in. The state makes money selling your info and you get the scam calls-----because that's what these companies really are. Why anyone would buy an auto warranty from some unknown company is a mystery.

It is always best, if you really think you need an extended warranty, to buy one from the auto manufacturer---not someone selling warranties out of who-knows-where. Expensive lesson, but now you know.

Warranty solutions is not only difficult for customers to deal with, but also for dealerships to work with. They do not make right for their mistakes and will do anything they can to get around paying for a repair that clearly falls within the contract. Very shady company to do business with!

I made a claim recently and thought the service was great. I had a fan broke and also needed the wiring harness completely replaced. They covered the full cost of the repair minus my $100 deductible and covered my rental for longer than it actually took to repair my vehicle. No complaints. I think the warranty cost around $2k and the repair cost for nearly $2,500 so I've already gotten my money's worth. Company was easy to do business with and I would recommend

We purchased a 2014 Jetta and Passat the Dirito Brothers dealership a year ago along with their warranty coverage through Warranty Solutions. When we needed the warranty for a heating issue on the Passat, Warranty Solutions refused to cover the issue. Dirito Brothers have great prices and customer service, but DO NOT purchase their warranty with Warranty Solutions. It is a horrible company with horrible customer service. They had an excuse for everything when I asked them why we would not be covered for the heating issue. Absolutely ridiculous.

Warranty Solutions - DO NOT GET THIS COVERAGE

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Less than 3 months ago I bought a 2003 Lexus IS 300 for my son, and due to its age, got the warranty solutions coverage because it was backed by Wells Fargo, so I figured if anything went wrong within 2 years, I'd be ok. Just last week the car overheated, and I immediately took the car to a Toyota dealership, thinking it was minor. Warranty Solutions Claims examiner came out and inspected the car and said it needed a new engine and denied the calim. I had to call warranty solutions to find out why. The rep Brian said it needed a new engine due to excessive driving the car while it was overheated.

I informed Brian that I immediately turned the car off when it overheated, he was insistent that it was driving too long while overheated, thus denying my claim.

Now, less than 3 months after purchasing this car from a dealership, I am forced to buy an engine at my expense due to no fault of my own.

Warranty Solutions are a SCAM!!! Save yourself the headache and trouble and DO NOT buy this service from them.

I also bought an older car and had a mixed experience. Ultimately they have save me thousands but refuse to pay what the dealer charges to repair the vehicles.

ie dealer charges $2hr they will only pay $1hr. On actual labor costs this quickly adds up.

I've also been told they don't cover Certain hoses/pumps and only cover certain leaks in which i still pay thousands of dollars. I'd look for something else next time.

So far, so good

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
We purchased the 5-Star coverage for a used Toyota a few years ago. At 55k miles the car started making funny noises upon starting, so we took it into the dealership where they diagnosed a slipping timing belt. I was all ready for a headache of a claim, but I didn't end up having to do anything. Toyota dealt with Warranty Solutions, and the car was out a few days later with my $100 deductible. Sure, it seems that's the way it should have happened, but I have years of experience otherwise with other companies. So far, we are very pleased with the 5-Star Warranty.

Won't honor contract

We purchased the 4 star plus contract from Warranty Solutions, which listed as covered items the wiring harness and engine control module. We took our newly purchased Audi A8 to an Audi dealer, and there was a coolant leak that damaged those 2 parts, as well as others.

Warranty Solutions is only willing to pay about $2.4K of a $10K repair bill, and is denying coverage for the two covered items, totaling about $7K.

We are actively searching for an attorney in order to file suit and get them to honor their contract. Wells Fargo recently sold Warranty Solutions to AmTrust Financial.

Warranty solutions is the absolute worst warranty company. Even if the part is listed in their reparable parts list, then don not honor. To everyone out there DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY SOLUTIONS WARRANTY.

I have a warranty through them. I purchased a truck from diesal direct in strongsville oh.

Not long after having the truck there was a issue with the brakes and sensors. My mechanic told them everything he was replacing, they said since there was rust they could not warranty the claim. Remember I had gotten the truck recently before making that claim.

Today which is 2/10/16 there is a problem with the ball joints and radiator they say they can not warranty it because it's not the factory exhaust. What a joke.

Warrenty related coverages that they should cover but they do not cover

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I received the run around with the company on technicalities of what is covered and what is not, long story short beware of this company because they will get you on there so called 5 star service warranty and will not pay services that should be covered. They do not pay for diagnostics for items that are listed as covered in there warranty and will give you the story of how they do not cover for this sort of item. Beware of the fine print and how they also treat the repair service dealer and work them over as well to delay services. bob
