Warranty Solutions - They don't pay
We paid almost $6000 for extended warranty on my wife's Escalade. It had the famous GM lifter issue, so bad they had to cut out the camshaft. Needed it to get fixed and called them afterward for reimbursement. We were told they had to inspect before the repair despite how well known this is. Money down the drain. Heritage Indemnity Company is their owner. Don't waste your time with these people.

What an idiot. i am sure there are instruction on what needs to be done to file a claim and i am sure it does not say just send us your receipt after you had it repaired and we will give you every peeny that you demand .

Tell your insurance that you just replaced a fender for a car accident but dont file a claim until after the the supposed repairs were done. NOT

WERE DO I START!! THIS IS THE 2ND VEHICLE I HAD WITH THIS SORRY WARRANTY. NOW IF SOMETHINGS HAPPENS TO YOUR VEHICLE THAT THEY COVER, GOOD LUCK ON A RENTAL. THEY DONT ORDER THE PARTS ON TIME HAVE YOUR VEHICE SITTING AT THE DEALER SHIP AND YOU DO NOT HAVE A CAR TO GET AROUND, THEY GAVE ME 4 DAY RENTAL AFTER NOT ORDERING MY PARTS IN A TIMLY MATTER OCCURING TO MY SALES REP AT THE DEALERSHIP. IT BEST TO NOT BUY THIS, RESEACH WARRANT COMPANIES BEFORE PURCHASING A VEHICLE! MY TRUCK BEEEN IN THE SHOP SINCE 11/21/23 TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS AND ITS 12/6/23 I ONLY HAD A RENTEL 4 DAYS.

Warranty refund

2017 KIA Niro , was pay-in-full on 08/01/2023. I got it from SALES AUTO MALL ,1053 Highway 258N, Kinston, NC. When I asked about the refund ,I was asked who told you?This is a small town with few skilled people in that area. Mr. Brian Fay handled The paper work. His # is 252-522-****. In small town we do not trust dealerships . They will lie to you and keep your money, always saying come back week after week.

Horrible customer service

They made me wait for a week for a technician to come out and then deny my claim for a transmission repair, have my car serviced by the Ford manufacturer have all service records posted on Carfax and they tell me transmission is leaking so they deny the claim, Never have I had an issue with a service contract before always paid right away, dont buy this service contract at all total scam buyer beware. If you have this contract cancel it and get your money back asap

I didn't read the reviews here because they probably echo whats on the BBB website. However I was successful in having the CFPB open a case against them. It's being investigated at the time of writing, namely that the backup insurance guarantor is a subsidiary of Warranty Solutions and the SEC findings from 2017 has some disturbing info in the report. It seems they never addressed those issues and might not be properly licensed in the state. If more people open a case with the CFPB and the CDI this will gain more traction.

I submitted a warranty claim for the replacement of all four camshafts on my 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan on April 18th 2022. I received no response from Warranty Solutions so I followed up with an email on June 15th 2022.

Still no response, so I called today, the 29th of June and was told the claim was denied because I took it to the local Dodge dealer before contacting Warranty Solutions. Ok, so I violated bullet #1 and had the work started before contacting WS. But reading all the reviews, I now know that WS uses their terms of agreement as a means of screwing people. What irritates me the most is WS denied my claim but made no attempt to contact or notify me that my claim was denied.

A simple call to notify me could have made all the difference. As many others have discovered, Warranty Solutions is a scam!

Their customer service is horrible, business practices are deceptive and their reception and claims personnel are just as bad as the whole scam. I can only wish that Warranty Solutions will eventually reap what they have sown.

I was sold a three star extended warranty contract by the dealer of my 2006 Nissan Armada for $2400. It covered the engine, and I was told this was a good policy. When it came time for a repair concerning the engine, I was told it was covered by a rep at the company. I bring it to the mechanic only to have it denied, and my being told I was misinformed, and the dealer shouldve sold me a higher starred policy. I have 13,000 miles left on that joke of a policy, so Im cancelling it and getting whatever is left from it. Avoid these thieves at all costs, or be sorry you didnt.

I took my RAM 2500 to the dealership for the console lighting not functioning correctly. This is a factory installed interior lighting assembly that cannot have "bulbs" replaced. This is supposed to be a covered item according to my 5 Star Warranty package. But the technician at the dealer was told that until the lights actually burn completely out that the part has not failed. So although you can't even begin to use the lights for their designed purpose because they are not functioning properly and are not bright enough to allow you to read with them like a Map Light (that is what they are designed for), according to the Warranty Solutions Company representative they haven't failed yet. I called the company and was told by some snot nosed little person that it was a "light bulb" so it wasn't even covered. This is completely false, and he was rude and an arrogant little punk with an attitude on the phone from the beginning because I had asked to speak to a manager. This company is CRAP!!! I will pursue getting whatever money back I can from them and recommend no one ever buys their lame warranty packages EVER because they don't have any intention of honoring them anyway!

Since having this warranty, I have not had any issues with them making good on any payments for services that are covered under it. Minus the $100 deductible, I've pretty much have not paid much out of pocket.

Back in December for my car inspection I needed some parts replaced in order to pass, and one part in particular (my front strut) wasn't going to be fully covered because it didn't fail. So I told Midas if they not paying, then I'm not paying. But my car is at the shop today to get that much needed inspection sticker, and I haven't been told what my monetary damages are just yet, but back in December, Warranty Solutions was just about paying half of the bill, which works for me.

I don't expect a free ride from this. If they paid everyone's repairs 100% of the time, you can best believe you would be paying more at the dealership just to get the warranty to begin with.

This is the worst warranty experience of my lifetime. I am now 3 and a 1/2 weeks without a vehicle because this company continues to throw up roadblock after roadblock in order to deny the claim. The dealership has done everything requested and still the warranty company wants more terror down in order to find a way to deny the claim-their explanation is to find cause of failure. Do not waste your money on this warranty, I'm not sure you'll get anything in return.
